I just love your recent blog entry. Love your writing style and humor. Thank you both for serving our country and that is 365 days a year, not just Nov 11. 
I certainly have been in similar shoes with multiple children and pets
I have a 12v crockpot that I use while on the road and it has an adapter to use 110 when plugged in

This will be my first time in a camper so I need some clarification. When you say a small inverter, do you mean the ones that plug into the 12 volt and then has a 110 female?
