ok, no more copy and paste, I'll just retype it here,

24K French Toast

8 slices of stale french bread
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2 T orange liquor
2 T sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
2 T of butter (for frying)

For garnish:
confectioners sugar
sliced strawberries
sliced oranges

Mix all ingrediants in a bowl except the bread
arrange bread slices in the bottom of a cake pan
pour the batter over the bread, rearrange slices so all is covered,
flip them over and let them soak. Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate
overnight.
In the morning, fry slices in hot butter (or margarine)
dust with confectioners sugar and garnish with the strawberries and oranges.
serve with hot coffee and crispy fried bacon
(instead of maple syrup, make an orange sauce of orange juice, orange liquer and sugar
and water to taste, reduce to a syrup and serve hot.

Okay...orange liquor...do you mean Triple Sec? This looks pretty tasty!

It sure does look pretty tasty.
Isn't Cointreau an orange liqueur, too?

I LOVE french toast! But for some reason, it never turns out good for me. Always gooey in the middle
I wonder how other liquors would work, such as Bailey Carmel, etc?

My Grandma Rose used to add some flour to her recipe and it would make the french toast extra crispy. Yum!

Also, recently saw a recipe using frozen waffles instead of bread to make french toast. That sounded interesing!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I like Orange Curaco orange flavored liquor, yummm. It is really good in whipped cream to top many desserts.

I love French toast too, and personally I've never soaked the bread, I normally
just dip it, turn it over and dip it again and toss it in the hot skillet. And I would
probably do this one the same way just top it with the yummy stuff would be
good enough for me. I've been known to modify a recipe to make it easier, as I'm
sure lots of ladies have done the same.
