As many of you know, I will be working at Amazon.com in KY this year. That will end just before Christmas and I am still searching for my workamping job from Jan. 1 thru April, 2013. Would like to be in FL (preferably the gulf side) or near the gulf in GA. I subscribe to Workamper News, but if you hear of anything else, please let me know! Thanks :D

Linda, pick an area then find campgrounds around that area. Get on the phone and start calling and asking if they hire workampers. If you're a KOA member their website has job listings. Check out state parks in the area you might like and apply on line.

Linda....Disney World and Universal both hire temps. in the winter....They pay a good wage and will help you with finding a campground off property... and I think give you money to help out with that.....I think their official site has an employment section....know quite a few folks who have worked for them in the winter....but no other details...hey, it's worth a look-see... ;)

Yes, Karen, I've been doing that. I'm also networking. I just got a message from friends of mine in the Keys who will be running an ad on WKN for their park. She knows I'm heading for FL, so wanted to give me first dibs. The only catch is that I have to have a guy with me. They need two workampers, but she said the owners are too cheap to provide two RV sites. I told her I can do the work of two retired workampers...plus! So, why would they need a man

Lori...I contacted Disney in the past about workamping and never could find out anything. I may try it again, but I really would rather be on the gulf side...unless they offer me a job that I can't refuse ;)

This thread was from last fall. But it never hurts to have workamping sites brought back to the top.

These are great sources, in addition to my Workamper News subscription! Thanks! I saved the websites to my computer. :D
